Excursions from Marseiile in December

We arrive in to Marseille on December 25th.

8.00am -6.00pm

 

Any advice on what excursions we can do on that day ?

 

I e-mailed Provence Connection but have not had a reply.

May be difficult on the 25th but you might want to see if you can find a half-day tour to Aix-en-Provence. Not far from port and a beautiful town to walk around in and take in all the local flavor.

You might also check on the TripAdvisor forums for ideas. The locals that answer questions there would have a better idea of what you will face logistically going anywhere in that area on Christmas Day.

LOL...ok, I can help with a DIY option that's pretty easy. Take a taxi from the cruise ship to the bus/train station. Take one or the other to Aix en Provence. Bus is cheaper, runs a bit more frequently and is only a bit slower.

I've also checked out T Advisor - so now all set for the 21st !!
