HARMONY Cabin 10207 Central Park Balcony

Recommended Posts

As I said no I had the number wrong, it was 10209 not 10206 - that is a regular Central Park balcony room not a junior suite. 10206 was across the hall and an ocean view balcony.

My mistake! That would be the room directly next door to the cabin I am staying in and I'm assuming the number on your SeaPass was E4 if you went to guest services. I wonder if there is a fire door between the two cabins that separates them by muster station? Like I said I was pretty certain that area went to the ice rink but you know it better than I do! If anyone knows the number/location for 10207 please feel free to continue replying as I hope my family and I are not split up in an emergency! Thank you once again Ery for your answers to these questions. It helps a lot!

My daughter and I stayed in 10653 on Oasis this past February. We loved being above Central Park. It was especially peaceful in the evening, with twinkling lights in the trees, recorded cricket sounds, and music from the middle of the park. We are looking forward to the new closet arrangements on Harmony - with them opening into the room on either side of the bed OR the sofa (instead of being beside the bed/sofa, closest to the bathroom, with sliding doors that opened toward the bed or sofa, depending on the layout of the room.

The beds will probably be together when you arrive, but you can ask your room steward to separate them. Then, the two (narrow) tables on either side of the larger bed, will be placed together between the separated beds. It won't be a huge space between the beds, but enough to give you room to walk between them. The closets are firmly positioned in place, and the space between them will contain the bed(s) or the sofa - depending on the arrangement in the room. They will alternate from one cabin to the next - just as they do on the Oasis and Allure.

I was on one cruise with an ocean balcony, and I really prefer the Central Park balcony. My (adult) daughter and I spent a lot of time on the CP balcony, playing cards and Scrabble, people watching, reading, and just hanging out. When we wanted to watch the ocean, we went to other places on the ship where we could see it. I'm with the girl who found it boring after a fairly short time.

We didn't have any problems with people on the other side of CP being able to see into our room, or vice versa. During the day, if you don't have the lights on, all you can see are shadows of other people. And it's easy to pull the drape closed for a few minutes while you get dressed or undressed. We seldom found that the noise from the pool deck was disturbing, but I've read that the balcony doors don't seem to be as well insulated on Harmony as they were on Oasis or Allure, so that might be a minor issue when we cruise in 53 days!

UPDATE: just got SetSail pass. Everything is good to go and I have heard a lot of good answers from you all on what is in the room, so thank you all very much for that! I am going to need the chargers the first day because I'll be doing a lot of sharing since we don't bother paying for the wi-if! My brother and I are in 10207 and our parents are across the hall in 10206. Our paperwork indicates that we all indeed do share a muster station, that being asssmbly station D4 located in the back of Studio B (SS paperwork only shows the number, I just happen to know where each station is by both number and location). I've heard it's crowded leaving the ice rink after muster since there are four stations in there and only one exit, and that the best way to avoid that is to go through the casino- anybody with tips on that feel free to reply! The only thing I don't have a whole lot of information on how is the views from this cabin, but I guess I'll just find out on day 1! I'll be overlooking Central Park so regardless of the location, I'll enjoy the view and being on the lowest deck of CP balcony cabins, don't expect the pool deck noise to be as bad as it is for the higher balconies. Thank you all again for your helpful replies! Happy cruising!

Hello, we stayed in 10207 on our December sailing. Here to answer your questions.

-The view was nice, I loved this room. I enjoyed sitting outside the balcony and listening to the music at night. Jamie restaurant and Central park cafe are right under this room. Just watch for the balcony door step, the first day I kept tripping. And for more privacy I had the closet door wide open and changed behind it so people from the other side can't see :p

- I love the his and her closets

- It was quiet. You barely hear anything when you close the doors, except sometime when your neighbor flushing their toilets. I know, it's weird. And I don't recall if I heard noises from the pool areas

- Muster station is D4, studio B

- We had the king size bed, but I think you can request to have 2 twin beds. This room comes with a nice size couch, comfortable too

Here are some pictures of the room and the hallway on deck 10. Hope it help.

Oh my goodness, this looks so wonderful. Thank you so much for fhe pictures! My only concern now (besides the issue of congestion after muster) is that we're far from both elevators, but I guess that doesn't bother me because it's good exercise, especially with all the food I'll be eating :D it's completely worth it since it's at a good location right in the middle of Central Park, with views of the entire park. I am so excited to stay in this room. I cannot thank ton enough for sharing these pictures! Do you mind I tweet a couple of them? If not, I'll clearly state they're not my photos. Thank you so much again, and I sincerely hope you enjoyed your cruise. Cheers!

You're very welcome. I don't think that 10207 is very far from the elevators. But you're right, it's good exercise after eating all those good foods. Make sure you make the reservation for the free lunch, we chose Jamie and loved it, especially that huge piece of tiramisu, lol.

You can use those pictures as you like, I don't mind. Have a wonderful cruise. My husband love the ship so much, we might book the Eastern cruise this year :)

I would definitely book another one! I agree, it's a great location- right in between the pool deck and the Royal Promenade, Central Park, and Boardwalk! We were thinking of using the free meal at Jamie's for dinner, but the only problem is that it would only apply to my brother (14 and a half) and myself because our parents are across the hall in 10206, which is a category D6 superior oceanview balcony stateroom so the "neighborhood balcony perks" don't apply to them! I turn 18 next week so I'll probably be able to take him, although we're hoping they'll be able to make an exception so we can all enjoy it as a family of four! You said you'd recommend using it for lunch instead of dinner? Thank you again for all your helpful information!

Hello, first of all Happy 18th Birthday :).You can share the bottle of Merlot they give you with your parent though. ;). As I recall they only gave us lunch and not a dinner option. And your family can enjoy meal together at Jamie without a problem; just tell them your parents are going to join you guys.

I remembered they asked for my sea pass then gave us the receipt with the $0 balance. They will give you a tiny menu, not a lot of options there, but the foods was good. As your parents, they will get a different menu that's much bigger because they have to pay, lol.

I heard that it was a much reduced menu for the free lunch. I also read where one person was able to use the lunch perk as $30 OBC toward his daily gratuities. I would love to be able to do that, as there are so many complimentary lunch options. 🤑

I remembered my husband asked me " How come other people have bigger menu, but ours so tiny ? ". Lol. It was nice to have a nice, quiet lunch there. But I agree,it would be nice if we can use that $30 for OBC :).

Moon Orchid,

I know I already replied awhile back but I cannot thank you enough for these pictures of my cabin! I sail in 5 days and it looks wonderful! I just have one last question about the cabin (or any cabin on Harmony, as I'm assuming this would be the same for each one)- is there an outlet in the bathroom? (I know that's a weird question, again, just curious!)

Thank you again for all your help, and I hope you enjoyed your cruise as much as I plan to enjoy mine!

Hello all,

My family and I will be sailing on the Harmony of the Seas in April and I will be staying in 10207, a Category C2 Central Park Balcony Stateroom on the port side of Deck 10. If anybody has stayed in this cabin before, I would love any information on the cabin you can provide for me! :)

We're staying in this cabin for our upcoming cruise and this will be our first neighborhood balcony (have always done OV ) can't wait
