Your Favorite Alcove Location

We have an Alcove booked on our upcoming Silhouette cruise.

Is there any locations better than others?

We have booked an alcove for the week on our last 5 reflection cruises. There is no big difference, but if you want to be closer to sunset bar, ask attendant to set you up at that end etc..we usually pick one of the center alcoves for no specific reason. They pick them for you, but then day you have rented, go up early and see the alcove attendant to choose if possible.

I like the middle alcoves. The ones that are close to the Sunset Bar can get the smell of cigars and cigarettes-depending on the wind direction.

I would also stay away from the ones closest to the Lawn Club Grill, if a sea day. They had lunch going on there one sea day that we had an alcove and it felt like we were the entertainment for some of the diners :).

 

We went to the alcoves sometime in the first couple of days and found one we liked and talked to the people at the Lawn Club Grill. They are in charge of the alcoves and wrote down our preference. Not sure if it still works that way, but it's worth a try.
