Is the microbrewery tour on carnival vista able to be purchased in advance or only booked once you get on the board

You can only sign up at Red Frog Pub (cannot sign up at the Red Frog Bar by the pool).

If I remember correctly it was $16, included 4 pitchers of beer to share per table (1 pitcher per beer type).

On the Nov 16 sailing, they told us they had "upgraded" the tour.

It is now $24.95pp and in addition to the tour and samples, they added

a take-home "Red Frog Pub and Brewery" pint glass, a certificate, and a

free pint of your choice (can be used later in the cruise).

As for popularity, they did at least 2 tours on the day we did it, and

we noticed tours happening numerous other times when we happened

to walk past and see them. I think they can have 16 people in a tour.

Both the Brewmaster and the Assistant Brewmaster give tours.

I was on this sailing and saw the same. We had 11 people on our tour between 2 tables. We shared 10 pitchers of beer between us...4 standard beers plus the seasonal pumpkin ale. It's well worth even the new higher price. We booked it within an hour or so of boarding and we were in the first tour of the sailing.
