Just back from the Pride - Questions?

Come on you been on so many cruises and you should know by now what the temp is. All slots are almost the same just a different name. The casino new name is the smoke lounge!! That's how they make their money.

 

Yes, I have been on many cruises, but I have never been on the Pride. I have found the temp on the Sunshine to be comfortable, but froze recently on the Magic. All ships are not the same. On the Liberty our balcony cabin was extremely warm, even after they brought us a fan, we couldn't sleep. Just wanted to know if the Pride had any newer slots. When we went on the Legend a few years ago they had refurbished the ship and had all the newest slots. I know the casinos are all usually smoky, as the smokers gather there to smoke, but I was hoping the Pride had good ventilation.

Hmmmmmmmmmm........ I best thing to tell ya is to take a jacket. I'm thinking you have another balcony cabin so just wait and see how warm or cold your cabin will be. I really didn't check to see what years were the slots I just played.

Until Carnival have a non-smoking cruise you will smell smoke in the casinos no matter when you play.

I'm with you. I froze on the Dream and Liberty in the shows and comedy lounge. But the Sunshine and Ecstasy were perfect.

 

But now the smoke on the Ecstasy was the worst I've ever encountered. It was overpowering even down to the back elevators. And usually it doesn't bother me that much. I enjoy walking through the casino and watching people play

I will be cruising on the Pride on January 22 when she sails from Tampa. This will be my first time on the Pride.

We were on the Pride at the end of October. The food in the Lido and MDR was fine. The food at Guy's Burgers and Blue Iguana Cantina was out-of-this-world!

 

What is good at Blue Iguana? Do they have the crispy salad bowl taco things? Any hard taco shells?

They still did it last month on the Magic, so I am sure they will. It's the same menu on the Pride.

The Magic had the crispy taco shell bowls, so I would think they all must have them. Not sure about taco shells.

I just returned from 7 nights on the Pride out of Baltimore. I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have.
