aloevera14 Posted January 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2017 My H and I will be on Jade for the Feb 19 sailing...lots of music and good times ahead. We are aware that some people got displaced because the Jade was chartered. Sixthman always has a ship for Cayamo; sorry about that. I am looking for excursions and information about Cozumel shopping w/o using Norwegian to book. I haven't been in Cozumel since 1980! Taxi ride from port to downtown or is walking an option? Any suggestions are appreciated. And what does one do in Roatan if monkeys aren't of interest? :)

roger001 Posted January 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2017 If yu dock at Punta Langosta, then you walk off the dock into downtown. At the International Pier, there is some shopping around the dock area, but it takes a taxi (or long walk) to get to downtown Punta Langosta. cb at sea Posted January 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2017 Unless you are part of the music group, you are not going to be able to access the entertainment. Are you part of the "group"?

Cayamo is a full ship charter - there are no 'non-group' passengers on the ship.

Hmmmm... getting a bit excited Cindy? There is nothing quite like that feeling when you collect your high five, get on The Rock Boat and the magic begins! Deep breaths... we are nearly there! :D
aloevera14 Posted January 13, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted January 13, 2017 I have no useful information for you but I am a Rock Boater and I just wanted to give you a high five! We are almost there! Thank you. I'll take your high five. We are going back for our second Cayamo cruise on NCL. Its been a while since our first. All of our friends have continued to sail since starting in 2012 and the journey began in 2010! We took a long break, and I am thankful to go again. Emmie Lou Harris, Paul Thorn, Rodney Crowell etc...It will be grand. Have a great time on the Rock boat. We may even stay on board while docked in Roatan...definitely shopping in Cozumel but off the beaten path.
