I am doing a similar cruise at the end of March. Could you tell me how you sorted visas? Do MSC sort this or do you have to buy them yourself

As an EU citizen I did not need a visa ahead of the cruise. UAE the visa is issued at immigration at the airport (expect long lines). As soon as you board the passports are collected. They were returned the last day (delivered to the cabin). Each time you leave the ship you get a green landing card which you return when you board again.

Actually I haven´t checked my passport for new stamps from Bahrain or Qatar. Have to do this at home .

Thank you for excellent review with the food photos.

We are doing our first MSC cruise in Feb on Splendida which I think is a sister ship, so ignorant on MSC ship's, lol , so looking forward to it.

Our cabin is a balcony with the Bella experience and black card holders due to the status match. I see you had robes and slippers , do you think we will have those with the Bella experience?

I know the food on your cruise was relevant to the itinerary, we are sailing from Barcelona , but even so looked amazing. :)

Yes, the Splendida is a sister ship as well as Divina and Preziosa which are slightly larger.

Bella is the basic experience. Slippers/robes were Black Member amenities.

We had four special menus (Christmas, two Gala Nights, New Years Eve). The other ones were the regular ones.
