Thanks for the info on the Sapphire. What date are you on for Oct. sailing to Mexico. I am on the 2nd of Oct. We have a roll call started if you want to join us.

The Sapphire Princess use to be the Diamond Princess until it had what was quoted as a small fire. At the time the 2nd ship the Sapphire was 6 months behind the Diamond in construction. The name change came because of the fire. You can see pictures of the "small" fire at.

Glorious: I think most of us know about the fire back in 2002. Do you think Princess would accept the ship if it were any the worst for wear? Besides it has a 4 month shakedown in Alaska before it heads off to Mexico.
