150 watts OK?

My hair styling tool is rated at 150 watts. Is it safe to plug this in and use onboard?

I would tend to believe that this would not be a problem. Karen commonly uses a hair drier that has a higher wattage rating and has never had an issue.

Thanks. Wouldn't want to blow any circuits...

150 watts @ 125 volts will draw about 1.2 amps.

Your average hair dryer will be about 900 to 1200 watts, or 7.2 to 9.6 amps.

Most home circuits are at lease 15 amp rated. Not sure how the ships rate their fusing, but I doubt you would have any problem at all.
