Internet upgrade

We are traveling on the MSC Divina in February. When we booked the our cruise it included the Surfer Cruise Plus package. We would like to upgrade to the Steamer Cruise Plus package. I called MSC to see if I could do this before the cruise but they said it had to be done onboard, if it was offered. Has anyone done this?

You can do it onboard really easily. Sign in with your internet ID (found on your cruise card) it will show you have pre-paid for the package. On the log in page it will then give you the option to upgrade, I did it for a week on MSC Splendida and it was 21EURO for 7 days 1800Mb.

That's not too bad, given that I also got the cheaper package included in my newly made reservation.

On Splendida right now.

 

I bought the Surfer. Upgrade: 35 Euro to Streamer or 9 Euro to top off 500MB more for Surfer package. I messed up a little as I forgot to turn off photo backup update on Wifi so blew 170MB on the first day. Oops. But turned it off. Will top off if needed. I bought a sim card in London with 12GB for 20 pounds so will do all of my usual Wifi stuff on data.
