Divina stay after cruise?

Going on a cruise with Divina on feb 11. When we return to Miami, our plane leaves at 16,00 from MIA, so wondering: how long are we allowed to stay on board after the cruise?

Last call will be about 10:30 but you will have been out of your cabin by 7:30 or so. EM

Since you have luggage the best thing would be to see if they offer an excursion that ends at the airport. I did that once on an RCCL cruise in Istanbul. When you figure out the cost of an airport transfer alone, it usually turns out to be a good deal.

It differs every cruise but when they say last call it's time to go.

They have luggage storage at the airport (for a fee) if you'd like to drop it there and then explore the city or Miami Beach

Yes, at MIA, I believe it's $10 for large bags, $6 per carry on size..

I also read there is free shuttle that can take you to a local mall from the airport? We are in the same boat (no pun intended) as you and trying to figure out what to do after our cruise.

We had a car reserved through Thrifty and boarded their shuttle just outside the cruise terminal to pick up a car at the airport. I think most car rental companies have similar deals.

 

There is a luggage storage place in South Beach. You would have to taxi or uber to get there.

 

If you can store your luggage at the airport, or check it in early, there is a metrolink station to downtown.

 

The Florida departures board has a lot of information about this topic.
