Greetings Cruise Fans !

NCL Jewel's return to San Pedro from a 7-day R/T Mexican Riviera cruise is 8AM on a Sunday.

Since this cruise originates and ends, in San Pedro, I would think debarkation should be much faster.

Gold and Platinum members are allowed "Priority Debarkation".

Barring any issues, how soon might Gold/Platinum members be allowed to walk off the ship ?

I'm hoping to catch a flight from LGB at 11AM.

TIA, Sailor1959

Self-disembark goes first, then suites, then the yellow luggage tags of Gold and Platinum members. So you should be in third group to disembark.

However, on Jade last October they also called Lime and Purple the same time they called the Priority yellow tags.

You probably would have gotten a quicker answer if you'd asked this on the NCL board.

Thanks for your response NMLady ! :)

Since we're planning to walk-off the ship, we should be on the first group.

We're hoping to take one of the first taxis and head to the airport.

Would like to make a 11AM flight, the next one leaves about 3PM.

The Long Beach (LGB) airport is small so there's nothing to do or anywhere to go (restaurants, etc.) if we had to wait till the 3PM'ish flight.

Tsk, Tsk !!!

True, True.

Would Have, Could Have, Should Have !

Thanks, Doug

Yeah, I know what you mean about the Long Beach airport.

Since you're planning to do self-disembark you should be able to make the 11am flight, especially since Sundays have less traffic. It will depend on if port officials are there on time for customs/immigration.

Hope they weren't out partying the night before.

The cruise departs and returns to San Pedro.

Will they check the passports of EVERY passenger ?!!!
