Having last minute change of plans today and was wondering if there were any good restaurants close to where we are docked. All I see outside my window is a Hooters. Craving authentic tacos. For some reason I can't search this forum on my tablet, so I am hoping someone can help out in the next few hours. Thanks.

We walked to Sunset Cozumel and really enjoyed our guacamole, salsa, chips and margaritas. I saw other plates being delivered and it all looked/smelled delicious ... but we had eaten lunch shortly before so we didn't order a full meal. :( I think we missed out!

We sat in the bar area and had a great view of the port ... watched small boats come and go ... people taking a snorkle lesson, listened to music, etc. The day was beautiful, not dreary and over cast but my photography skill stink ...

It was about a 10 minute walk (1/2 mile maybe) once we stepped out of the terminal/shopping area. (Walk out past the taxi stand, turn left, walk straight down the main road/sidewalk ... )

OP can see Hooters - they are docked at Punta Langosta - long walk to Sunset!

Hopefully you have discovered by now you are in town and lots of restaurants available!

If not, walk left towards the square. Casa Denis claims to be oldest restaurant on Cozumel. Lots of local eateries back a block or two from main road, on Avenida 5 and 10.

Sorry ... thought we walked past a Hooters right after getting off the ship ... but apparently not.

No problem - it's been a while since I have been to International and there have evidently been a lot of changes there, (including moving Margaritaville) but I haven't heard of a a second Hooters being added.

NCL, usually (not always) docks downtown so I assumed that's where they were.
