Balcony cabins on Freedom

Was just wondering if anybody had a good recommendation on which decks on the Freedom is best for a balcony cabin?

I've been on over a dozen cruises and only once have I had issues with smoke bothering me on my balcony. And I've found if you politely let them know how ill it makes you, they usually stop. So don't worry too much about that other response and enjoy your balcony. :)

 

As to which deck on the Freedom is best for a balcony, we prefer deck 7. Deck 8 is right below the Lido which is very noisy. Deck 6 is right above the promenade where the shops, casino, and night clubs are. But deck 7 is conveniently located between two floors that are all cabins so it's very quiet. Two floors up or down will get you to the promenade or Lido which are the two floors where everything's at. Which means you can skip the elevators if they're crowded. We don't like being too high or too low because of all of the walking we have to do to get places so deck 7 is our favorite on the Freedom. I hope this helps. :D

We stayed on deck 7 Midships. It was nice and quiet. No complaints whatsoever.

We love the balcony cabins on Lido deck. Just get a bit forward so that you are not right by the doors that open out onto the pool area.

 

Those 8E cabins around 9289, 9293 and the same ones on the other side are super convenient, but very noisy when the DJ is playing and at night during the deck parties.

 

I prefer a bit more forward like around 9257 or 9258. And, they are 8D so sometimes a few $$ cheaper too.

We have been on the Freedom twice and had Lido balconys twice and loved it.We had room 9269 and had no noise.

no across the hall neighbor Its where they store the fire doors)

easy access to stairs/ elevators

up two decks for food/ pools

down 2 decks for entertainment

only need to travel to the show lounge in front of the ship

I had cabin 1031 perfect for us.
