Things to do in Tampa

Hi!

 

I am taking a cruise out of Tampa from Feb 4th to Feb 9th. I am considering taking an early morning flight in on the 4th (arriving at 10am) and taking a late night flight out on the 9th (departing at 8pm).

 

Can anyone give me some suggestions on activities to do before and after the cruise? Also, anyone know of a place to store our luggage during this time period? Lastly, is it even worth spending extra time in Tampa?

The Aquarium is right next to the cruise terminals and will store luggage for free.

Right behind the Aquarium is the American Victory ship museum. We spent some time there after our Cruise since we had a 2:30 flight. Were able to leave our luggage at the aquarium for a small fee. Then took a taxi back to the airport for $25. Lots of taxis waiting.
