We are sailing on the dawn in cabin 11612 on October 26 2018. Same cabin as you just opposite side of ship. I picked this because midship, next to elevators, larger balcony and over hang on balcony that gives shade and bad weather protection. It is below the area between the pool and buffet so shouldn't have too much noise.

The Dawn only has 4 of these cabins which are all similar and on the deck with all the suites. They are 11112, 11118, 11612 and 11618.

I have cruised in 11118, 11612 and am booked on 1-29-17 in 11112. They are excellent cabins with larger balconies than the regular balconies and placed close to the elevators making it a short walk to just about anywhere on the ship.

The only minor problem is that if 3 are in the cabin and one is sleeping in the fold out couch, then it makes it difficult to access the balcony while they are in the bed.

Was there a lot of noise in those cabins?
