Mexican Riviera On The Mercury?

Can anyone that has sailed recently tell me if the ship's time is changed from port to port. I am specifically interested in Puerto Vallarta. Would like to book a private tour. My itinerary says the Mercury docks at 9:30AM. I have read on these boards that sometimes the ship's time is different than the port's time. Does anyone know positively?

When we sailed her last February the ship's time changed twice southbound and twice back northbound. It was always set to local time.

Celebrity changes ship time to match port time as you change from time zone to time zone.

Thanks for your info. I guess I won't be able to take the tour I had hoped to take in Puerto Vallarta since it leaves at 9AM and itinerary says the Mercury only arrives at 9:30AM:(
