Carnival Gift Cards Now at Publix

I have always gotten our Carnival Gift Cards from Kroger. However, I found them at Publix yesterday. Is this new? I have always shopped at Publix and have never seen them there.

My girlfriend lives in Georgia and has been buying them at Publix since last year.

I know they had them last year. They even had a coupon for $10 off a $100 card.

They do have at Publix in Florida.

They just started to sell them this month in Food Lion in North Carolina. They only had them at Lowes here in our area before.

Are they selling these at a discount? 10% off? I remember when they were at Lowes. I didn't think they were discounted. I couldn't see the point of buying a gift card at face value?

She always gets them for at least $100 each. But I think most retail stores are also only offering them in denominations of $100 anymore. There are some stores with the smaller amount cards still left but it's very scarce.
