My guess is cab will know, shuttles will know or you can call the port that Am and it will be marked as you arrive....more who go often form here will chip in or check and ask at your official departure pre cruise board here.

You may have answered this but I did not see it. How long does it take for them to get your luggage to your room. Since we will be having carry on with can drinks etc I want to be able to get into the room as soon as possible. Also, when visiting Freeport, where does Carnival dock? At the Freeport Cruise Port or at Port Lucaya? If at the first, are there markets there? If not are there taxis for transport and are they as prevalent as they are in Nassau? I know I have more questions, but my mind is a bit sluggish this morning. Thank you.

 

You will not be able to get to your cabin before 1:30 P. M., which is the "official" time. You might want to check to see if you could get there sooner, I don't know if that is possible.

 

Luggage was slow to arrive considering I arrived at the Pier around 11:00 A. M. My one piece did not show up until after sailing. It's just a matter of luck, I think, as to when the bags get loaded onto the ship and then when the crew can get them to your cabin. With heavy carry-on luggage, head to the Lido Restaurant and grab some lunch, then, if the cabins are still not available, snag one of the plentiful seats outside or in one of the Lounges. I would recommend the side opposite where embarkation is taking place at the Atrium Bar (great for people watching, I found) or the large seating area near the Casino.

 

We docked at the Cruise Port. It is a well developed area with lots of small shops, food kiosks, and a couple of nice bars, i.e. Senor Frog's. There is a gazebo with live music available. Taxis were available.

 

Liberty always seems to be at one of two piers in the same area of the Port. A parking garage serves both of those piers. You won't have any difficulty finding her. The electronic signage that the Port uses will direct you easily to where you need to go.

Thank you for your response. I had thought that taking the bottle would be best, just cumbersome. I don't have written prescriptions since the pharmacy keeps those. I have prepaid parking at the Port, since it seems to be easier access to the terminal. It has been years since I took a cruise, this is my anxiety ridden daughter's first cruise and she has many quetions.

 

I have always read that using a daily pill box is not a problem. It saves a lot of room instead of bringing multiple bottles.
