Kudos2Fly Posted January 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I understand kids under a certain age wear wrist bands for safety and know where they need to go in case of an emergency. My question is we want to get some good pictures of our grandkids with out the bands being on them. Can they be taken off or replaced?
springs741 Posted January 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Are you are talking about the professional photos? I was told they will Photoshop them out. The bands are not removable. If they do "happen" to come off you can get replacements. Ask at Guest services or at the camp. Kids 12 and under are required to wear them
PalmTree601 Posted January 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I've also seen ship photographers "pose" kids to hide the wristband under their other hand, behind someone, or otherwise keep the band out of the picture.
easyboy Posted January 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I agree that proper posing by a professional photographer, or anyone, to hide the bracelet can be an immediate alternative to removing it.
gtonda Posted January 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2017 They can be removed. They have a button like connection that isn't easy to be popped, but it can be done. Worst case, you just cut them off before pictures and then swing by camp ocean and they will put new ones on the kids. Done it many times. RTRMom Posted January 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2017 They tend to pose them where you can't see the neon bands.
serene56 Posted January 27, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2017 I would take them off for formal photos then go to the camp and get a new one the next day
Carnival_Brides Posted January 27, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 27, 2017 We take them off for pictures and get new ones at Camp Carnival. Our girls aren't allowed to venture on their own, so they are never without us in the two hours between dinner and when they return to Camp after photos. riffatsea Posted January 27, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 27, 2017 Funny to me because I'd leave them on in pix as a memento of the real trip. They are like bracelets and would be more of a souvenir of what you really looked like on the ship.
Kudos2Fly Posted January 27, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) I think that's what we will do is just take them off and get new ones. They are 7 & 9, so will not be going off on their own anyways. This is more for the "Formal" photos. The casual photos I don't mind them having them on. It's only a 3 day cruise. Personally if I'm paying $25 a photo I really don't want those wrist bands in the photo. LOL I don't think the kids will have any interest in "keeping" them. But you never know...
