KyleClark Posted January 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2017 (edited) From the T&C's. 4. Upon receipt of an Invitation, you may submit a Bid on up to two categories higher than your current class of service category for the original itinerary booked. Does this mean if I have a balcony will I recieve a inviation to bid on a mini-suite and or a Suite? What if I have a mini-suite booked or a spa balony booked what would be two categories higher? Lastly, Is the winning bid based on your sole bid for an upgrade or the total price of your bid and original cost? Thanks... SeaShark Posted January 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Does this mean if I have a balcony will I receive a invitation to bid on a mini-suite and or a Suite? MAYBE. Not everyone will receive an invitation. There are a number of unnamed factors that will go into who does, and who does not, receive an invitation. What if I have a mini-suite booked or a spa balcony booked what would be two categories higher? The key phrase here is "up to". Lastly, Is the winning bid based on your sole bid for an upgrade or the total price of your bid and original cost? It is based on the sole bid...IOW, the upgrade will go to the person who is willing to pay the most for it over and above what they already paid. This way, they can maximize the revenue for every single upsell offered.
