End of Summer Cruise

We're looking at booking an 8 day Southern Caribbean cruise on the Magic, August 28th out of Port Canaveral. Just wondering if there are generally many kids on a cruise that late in the summer. We've cruised during expected high-kid times (spring break, Christmas, mid-summer), but were just wondering if there will be fewer, since it's the last week before Labor Day.

Due to the date, there would be fewer children on the ship as compared to spring break, Christmas, mid-summer sailings.

We've done cruises that late and there's more kids than say, October or November. But it's significantly less kids than mid summer or other times kids are out of school.

We actually did an 8 day from Port Canaveral in the middle of June last year. There weren't as many kids as I thought there would be. The ship as a whole was not very crowded at all. I wonder if the length and the fact that we left on a Friday was the difference?

Make sure you travel with the right mind set - this is PRIME hurricane season. So be prepared for all that that can mean - canceled cruise, delayed departure, delayed return, miss ports, rearranged port schedule, etc.
