beta98beta Posted February 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Have you ever done a Carnival live cruise? If so, here is my question.. we are booked on a Carnival Live Cruise in May that will have the ship docked in Nassau until 11 PM. My question is, for those of us that are not going to the concert, will they allow us to stay in Nassau longer or will we have to be back on the ship at the normal 5 - 5:30 PM time frame? Also, if we have to be back on ship by 5ish but the ship is not leaving until 11PM due to the concert, will the casino / shops be open for passengers not going to the concert? I would love to have the extra time at the Atlantis casino and maybe eat dinner there if they allow us to be off the ship later.

Frank12 Posted February 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2017 If you are not going to the show you can stay on the island. The time you need to be back on the ship will be posted in the Fun Times.

Frank12 Posted February 3, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2017 Should be around 10:00pm if the ship leaves at 11:00.

iujen94 Posted February 8, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2017 the ship is not leaving until 11PM due to the concert, will the casino / shops be open for passengers not going to the concert? Bumping this in hopes that someone will know the answer to this question from OP. We also have an upcoming cruise that will be docked in Nassau until 11pm because of a Carnival Live cruise. I've read elsewhere that the casino can open at 7pm when the ship is docked late in Nassau - just wondering if anyone can confirm that. It seems pretty clear from what I've read that the casino is open at night if the shipped is docked overnight in Nassau, but hoping to confirm the same is true if it's just a really late departure. We are definitely hoping to stay on the ship for dinner and the ship casino if possible. Thanks!
