Astoria OR Question

We're taking a 3 day cruise next spring that stops in Astoria. I'm guessing that it will be tender port. Is there anything interesting near the port in case we choose not to take a tour? Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

I was on the Oosterdam's 3 day cruise this past May - we were able to dock in Astoria, while the Radiance of the Seas had to tender. It's a tossup, but I'd say more than likely you'll be docked. The town center isn't far from the docks, and there's probably a shuttle you can take to get you there and back. I was on a tour, so I can't say for sure...

you might want to consider going down to cannon beach - great walking around town with lots to see---------------at one time there was a day tour to mt st helens
