Leap Year Birth Certificate?

My uncle was born February 29th 195X (don't know yet) they are planning a cruise in July, my aunt thinks his licenses state Feb. 28th. If the birth certificate birthday and licences birthday do not match will that be a problem? I did speak with someone at Carnival and they stated he should get his license changed if the dates are different? Any experience with this?

He should correct the license or get a passport. It's not worth the risk of a problem - here or abroad.

As A&J said. Correct license. I would suggest a passport, but everyone knows their own risk tolerance.

I would do the passport too. You never know if you are going to need it.

If he applies for a passport he'll have the same difficulty with the DL and BC having different birthdays, so he needs to get the DL fixed first and foremost. After that the decision can be made if a passport is prudent or not based on their travel plans.
