Bethanne6245 Posted February 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Hi All I will be cruising this April and we would like to reserve a cabana in Labadee. I know it states they can accommodate up to 6, but is it comfortable enough for 6? We have a few large adults in our party. I was thinking of booking one that was not over the water so we could potentially spread out a bit more in front of the cabana if necessary? Thoughts? Payd Posted February 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2017 I want to be helpful not disrespectful. Not sure how mobile your larger adults are. The description of the overwater ones indicate you do need to be mobile. The cabanas looked lovely though we didn't book one. Having one on the beach with access to water seems like the best of both worlds. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
Bethanne6245 Posted February 10, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted February 10, 2017 No thanks for including that! They are very mobile so that would not be an issue...I was thinking I didn't want to spend the day in the cabana stuffed in like sardines :)
Gabling Posted February 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2017 We had a Nellies over the water cabana this past November but only have 4 in our family. There are two lounge chairs in the front of the cabana which was really nice to lounge and hang out in. The back "sofa" was more then adequate for the others, including all our towels and beach bags from the ship. I think with the sofa AND lounges there would be more then enough room for 6, even if they were all different sizes [emoji173][emoji1360] It was great being able to get into the water without getting sand all over us (darn sensory issues solved!!) [emoji4]. We already booked another one for our upcoming Nov Oasis sailing!!! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cb at sea Posted February 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2017 You certainly don't need to stay IN the cabana! You can use the beach, too!
coops Posted February 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2017 We had a over water cabana and 6 will not feel crowded at all. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Lionesss Posted February 12, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2017 You may do better with a beach cabana, there are some on Barefoot if anyone in your party is in a suite you can book here. Also, you can request a closer to the entrance cabana on Nellies if not in a suite. Mind you, some will still have stairs. Safe travels.
