BrianC-80 Posted February 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2017 So we're off in around 60 days on the Spirit, and want to wait until we've seen the ship for a few days before deciding whether we want to sail on her again in early 2018 in the Canary Islands. We've thrown around the idea of booking the next trip while on board since the website no longer gives you the full selection of cabins. Then we remembered the CruiseNext Ultimate booking thing. We've already got CruiseNext deposits that we purchased on our last cruise (we already had the upcoming one booked), so the intention would be to use one of those deposits for the 2018 trip. From what I've Googled, I can only find that you get "an additional free offer". Anyone know what it is? Does it change?
lihoney Posted February 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2017 We got an extra $100 off the price of the cruise. They said it was a free upgrade but the $100 was more than the upgrade. We were on the Jade 1/25/17.

casofilia Posted February 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2017 I have a feeling that the upgrade is that you get a higher grade cabin in the type that you book; you do not move up the cabin type. If you book a Balcony BF you would get a BD and so on. I also have a feeling that the booking has to be done on the ship.
