Has anyone recently done a Fantasy review (with or without photos)?

We just got back last week but I haven't had time to post an actual review. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. I'll try to post an actual review this weekend. I'm still trying to adjust to having to cooking again. Lol

I have read some that say the ship is too old and too dated. And also the food was not good. Just curious the condition of the boat and what you thought of the food and crew

We were on the Fantasy last month. I have cruised on the ship many times before. The ship is in very good shape for its age. Jess the CD was very good. The current Chef and Food Service Manager leave a lot to be desired. It was a pleasant cruise, but the food preparation and presentation were below Carnival's norm.

We have recently cruised on Fantasy and were pleased with the food and service. Looking forward to sailing her again on Monday. The CD is currently Cassie, a lovely young lady, filling in for Mikey, on vacation.

we had classie cassie on the valor in sept. she was a very sweet lady and did a great job!

We, 5 of us, are on the same cruise. Two have never cruised before. It will be interesting what they think!

Well, classy cassie was being retrained last week. Mike pack who is outstanding was the cruise director. He was trying to give cassie ideas on how to get passengers more engaged. She isn't as energetic as others.

Ship inside staterooms are actually slightly bigger than those on new ships. Only one electrical outlet. We had trouble with shower drain in r103. But it was tolerable.

Food quality has been declining on all the cruises we've been on in last three years, including carnival, royal and celebrity.

Guys burgers, deli were outstanding. Great breakfast in diningroom. We felt like crew was outstandingly friendly. Price is right for a nice vacation on this ship. Shops are really small with limited merchandise, if that matters to you. We had no issue finding lounge chairs, could be the time of year as there was many older snowbirds in february.

Only downer for the cruise was that security pulled our bags aside and inspected them. My travel shampoo bottles look like alcohol I guess. They opened them all up no big deal. The big deal is they did not put the caps back on tight. I had shampoo and conditioner all over. Not sure why they pulled the other bag as it just had clothes. Bags took a while to get to our room, despite having fttf. A letter was put in the bag letting us know they went through it and all is well.
