pdz Posted February 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Can you use OBC to pay gratuities at end of cruise?
triptolemus Posted February 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2017 What kind of OBC? Promotional / non-refundable OBC cannot be used to pay the daily service charges. Refundable OBC can be used to pay the daily service charges. Refundable OBC can come from a TA as a perk or can be purchased by the passenger. Alternatively, you can cash out remaining OBC at the casino. A 3% fee will apply to this.
pdz Posted February 18, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Hmmm, not sure what kind of OBC I have. When I booked, the deal was 150.00+ 100.00 + extra 50.00 from travel company I booked through. Hoping my gratuities get deducted from this OBC balance. Anyone know if this possible? Or can I take the OBC money out in the casino and just lose the 3%? Use that cash to then pay for my gratuities???

They can (should be able to) tell you what kind of OBC you have. Sounds like you have a mix of both, perhaps. Yes, you could just cash out the OBC at the casino, then walk over and apply that cash to your account.
