No. :( The food is great but the location is awful. So loud from the bar area that you can't talk. Very distracting.

Went there several times this March. We had no problem with noise from the bar. But then we ate dinner at 5:30. We got a booth at the window each time and was very quiet and nice. Guess if you go earlier, it is not noisy or bothersome at all. You could always ask for a booth or table as far away from the bar area as possible.

Hi Kimcht! We have traditional dining booked for 6pm. Some days our excursions won't be returning to the ship in time. Can we go to anytime dining then or would we have to go to the buffet? Also, can you request a table for two at traditional dining? Thanks for your help :-)

Most important part of above is you have traditional dining at 6PM. Au contraire, PLEASE be mentally prepared for dinner even earlier at 5:30pm. In Princess speak, dinner at 6:00pm means 5:30pm.

We agree that the post regarding bad food/entertainment was his opinion, but totally disagree. We ate at all the venues, and rated the food very good. The lido had a great selection, and the DR food was good to very good as well. Really don't understand the bad extreme comments; just an ax to grind. Compared to all our other cruise line experiences, the Royal was equal in quality to the food on Celebrity/Holland/MSC. If don't like something, then request another choice. Entertainment choices were varied and again some may be more enjoyable than others, but none were terrible. Too many self-absorbed, whiners and cry babies on cruises these days, just a poor reflection of the current status of human nature.

How right you are
