sturderick Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 We have been on many cruises but we have always had 2 people or 4 people in a room. We are going on the Magic and I wondered if once the couch was made into a bed it stays that way the entire time? Is there anywhere to sit? We actually have two other family members in an interior room across the hall but plan on all using the balcony room so we can all enjoy having a balcony! We are very aware it will be a tight fit but have never had issues with 4 people. Does anyone have pictures?
cruizergal70 Posted February 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2017 You can pull the sheets off of the couch and use it as a sofa during the day. You may want to talk to your cabin steward so they know to make the sofa bed up each night. Go to YouTube to see the rooms.
Doctorsbaby Posted February 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2017 We normally ask our steward to make it back into a couch each morning when the room is serviced.

X2 - Yes just ask to have bed for night and couch for day, no problem man.
Drazil65 Posted February 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2017 It can easily go back to being a couch, we do it all the time.
CJHAN Posted February 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2017 When we where on the Magic they changed it back into a couch every morning. Didn't have to as for it they just did it. But even if they don't it is still a couch it just has a sheet over it. Sent from my SM-G935P using Forums mobile app

sturderick Posted February 22, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted February 22, 2017 Thank you so much :) I have stayed in several balcony rooms, I just didn't know how the couch/bed stayed during the day. We've had 4 people with a pull out bed so the couch bed stayed a bed. I was hoping with 3 it was a couch during the day. I really appreciate the video :)
easyboy Posted February 22, 2017 #10 Share Posted February 22, 2017 You're welcome. You still have easy access to your balcony.
KPfromCT Posted February 22, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 22, 2017 I feel like the past 3 cruises, they left it made up as a bed during the day. We tried RCCL in June, and they turned it back into a couch during the day. Wondering if we need to tell the steward that we would prefer the couch during the day. Thoughts?

I'm sure it will be fine :)
dolphin2012 Posted February 22, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2017 We always have our teen daughter with us and just leave the couch as a bed. if we come in to watch tv or relax we lay on our bed and she goes on hers. I never found it crowded and we had the balcony room. I did use the balcony a lot and three can sit out there not crowded. Only two chairs are on the balcony though.
