Pre booking Cheers for lower price

We have quite a bit of on board credit to use on our sailing, but I have read if you book the Cheers Package before sailing it is $49.95 vs. $54ish if you wait to book on the cruise.

My question is can I use my on board credit to book this ahead of time?

Beat me to the punch with valuable info, as usual. Yes, you save five dollars per day by paying ahead of time and even more if you're able to pay some of the Cheers bill with discounted Carnival cards which can be obtained by redeeming points on Verizon, AARP or Citi.

As the name implies, OBC can only be used on board for gratuities, shore excursions, specialty dining etc.

Yeah well you know us "old" people with too much time on our hands have nothing better to do. LOL!
