cruisin'sz Posted February 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2017 We will be taking an NCL cruise of the Baltic this summer. We have begun thinking about packing (yes, its quite early) and were wondering how dressy the ship is in the evening. Typically, on cruises (at least Caribbean ones), we shower/change for dinner after spending all day in the sun/heat. Being that this is a cold water port, we were wondering if most people dress up at night, or just come to dinner as is. Yes, this is a silly question, just trying to limit the packing somewhat if at all possible. Thanks for the feedback.

Sauer-kraut Posted February 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Not so dressy, you'll be fine without packing a lot of fancy things. The Baltic is a very port intensive cruise, you'll have long days in port. No need to stress about the clothes, just remember it might be cool in some places and warm sunny days, so dress in layers. :D

From shore excursions, we had to freshen up and change to casual clothes as we still watch shows or hangout in bars after dinner. Dressing up will really depend on how you want to spend time after dinner.
