Early Saver vs Pack n Go Rates

I booked a cruise for us using the ES rate. I now see I have a Pack and Play for that same cruise that will save me quite a bit of money. Final day to pay is 4/2. Will Carnival honor the Pack and Play rate against the ES rate or would I need to cancel and rebook? (Even with the $50 penalty pp with cancelling, I will still come out ahead.)

If you can book the same cabin you currently have with the same number of passengers at a lower price with the Pack and Play offer, they will honor it.

After being told I could not do it because we have 3 people and the Pack and Go rate was for only 2 people (??) we got disconnected. So I called back and got another lady who told me that the rate I have is a Casino rate, so she transferred me to the correct department and after holding a few minutes, I found out......

Wooo hoooo!! I saved over $500!!!
