EggDropErin Posted November 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Has anyone been to the waterpark in Labadee? I guess I should ask if such a place actually exists first...I had read about it somewhere. Anyway, if it does exist, is it worth the time and money? KelJ Posted November 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2005 It definitely exists, as I have it booked through RCI. A previous poster had said that you don't have to book, that you can pay when you arrive for the same price. It's very inexpensive (like $15 per person) and you can be there for 50 minutes. However, the same previous poster said that the day they were they were letting people stay twice as long.
bucknellmom Posted November 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2005 We paid for the water park when we arrived there. I guess if you book ahead of time you know what time you have. When we paid for it they said to come at 1:00 and it was around 11:30 at the time. My daughter did the water slide until 1 and really enjoyed that. That was $15 also for unlimited time if you were doing the water park also.
EggDropErin Posted November 16, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted November 16, 2005 Fabulous! Thanks for your replies. I am a huge waterpark person, so I'm rather looking forward to the one both on and off the ship. :)
bucknellmom Posted November 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted November 16, 2005 its not a water park like your thinking. all it had were a couple of water tramploines, a water seesaw, a huge blowup iceburg to jump off of and a water balance beam, with a smaller version of everything for little kids. it all depends how old your kids are if they will have fun or not. also outside the park for a seperate fee is a big blow up water slide. that is fun for any age. DPurcell58 Posted November 16, 2005 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2005 When we were there in Aug. there were jellyfish in the water where the iceberg, trampolines were. Kids were not staying long , we got our money back. Slide was much better.
EggDropErin Posted November 17, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted November 17, 2005 LOL Well, we don't have kids. I guess you could say I'm a big kid, but I like water stuff. I guess we'll have to check out the slide to see if it's up our alley or not. Thanks for everyone's help!
