i am not a good casino person. only thing i am comfy with are nickel slots because if i lose my money will go longer with lots and lots of nickels to use.

I played 3 Card Poker for the first time on Voyager and got seven "straight flushes" over the 9 days I played, worth $1400. Sorry to say I (barely)broke even for the cruise.:(

Does anyone know if they do the slot tournaments , or roll-offs ? They did have them on Carnival and I love the fact I can keep hitting that darn button :)

I've heard the slot machines are "looser" on the first day or two of sailing. Anyone know if this is true or not?

I think the slots are a bit loose on day one as well - I won $2500.00 on the first night of our Radiance cruise in February :) I was going to keep it my little secret.....but then they came by with a digital camera and took my picture with me fanning the $100 bills I had just won.....next thing you know, my face was on the screen at the entrance to the casino! Try hiding THAT from the husband ;)

My wife won $1000.00 on the slots on the Carnival Victory. She thought it was pretty big.
