Question about a coupon book sold on another cruise line at shore excurisons talk.

I have a friend who purchase one of these "FUN Coupon Books on a cruise in Oct. 2016 on Carnival Cruise Line and I'm getting ready to go on a cruise on RCI cruise line. She ask if I want the coupons that she didn't use that are for our ports of call on our cruise. Does anyone know and/or has anyone done or tried to see if you can use discount coupons from coupon book at stores listed in it in at the ports of call. Thanks
