WIFI and the iconcierge

Does the IConcierge app connect to the same network as the wifi for the internet. Just wondering how it works if I have an internet package as well. Do I have to switch networks to change from the Iconcierge to browsing the web. If it's the same network what do I need to do after I'm done web-browsing but want to keep wifi on to use the app but don't want to use my internet minutes.

It's the same network.

 

You log into and out of the internet using a browser based portal. The portal will tell you to "bookmark this page" so you can return to it easily to log out and log back in. You will remain connected to the ships wifi network (and iConcierge) but disconnected from the internet.
