Carnival Casino - Tables and Slots

I've never played on any of the ship's casinos but I do enjoy both table games and slots. I'd like to play both on my upcoming cruise but I want to avoid paying the 3% fees that I hear about. I'm not actually certain when or where they are charged, and cant seem to find the answers I'm looking for.

I've read that you can load your S&S account up with gift cards at the Slot Machines without fees, can I then use that money to get chips to play table games without incurring a fee?

If I'm done at a table and want to go back to Slots, how does the transfer from chips to slot currency work?

Can I convert the table chips to Cash after playing a bit without a fee?

Yes, you can charge money from your sign and sail to your players bank in the casino for slots for with no charge. You can technically "cash out" your slot play in the casino at the cage for cash, which then in essence could be played at the tables. Some people take advantage of this, and they will "lock" their card or something like that. As long as you legitimately play the slots, I don't thing this would be an issue.

Once you got done at the tables and you want to play slots again, you can cash your chips in at the casino cage, and re add the cash back to your Sail & Sign account to use in the slot machines again.

Here is what you want to do. (I do this so I don't carry large amounts of money, but just a few GC's instead).

If you have Gift cards, load them to your S & S acct using the kiosk across from Guest Services. Set up a pin and load them to S&S. You can then (or later) get cash from the same Kiosk to take to the Casino for chips at a table (no 3% fee for chips at the table with cash).

If you want to play slots, just set up a pin on a slot machine and deposit money from your S&S to your Casin acct (no 3% fee either). Play slots all you want. Just remember that when the cruise is done, cash out your Casino acct. at the Casino Cage (in cash).

Also, cash out any money you have left from your S&S acct at the end of the cruise.

Remember, S&S acct. and Casino cct. are 2 different things.
