Service Charge For Room Service

 Share

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have information either about a planned additional fee for room service. We have sailed on RCCL for special family trips with our last one for 20 of us to celebrate. Our grandkids (a wide range of ages) have always enjoyed using room service as an included benefit. I understand that in the past there has been a charge for service after midnight. But I am upset that this may change. If you have any suggestions for how to influence RCCL to go back to their prior policy.

The best time to influence a service provider is before they change policy. By the time a change is made at most typical service providers, it has been researched, investigated, and determined to be the best path forward. You can express your disappointment to the cruise line; it is always best to do so in writing, on paper, in a letter to the president of the cruise line (see below), but it is best to think of it as pressure in the direction of preventing future changes along the same lines rather than in the interest of reversing past changes.
