Specific Port/Dock/Pier Information

I've search and found lots of great links and information about what ship is in what port on what day and what other ships are in the same port--very helpful.

 

My question though is when there is more than one dock/pier in a port I can't seem to find which one my ship is using. It's not on RCCL's website--as far as I can tell :rolleyes:. And my TA say she doesn't have access to that information.

 

Anyone have ideas about where to get this information?

You would have to check with the specific port authority. For example, this link is for Port Everglades:

In this case, the info only goes out to around 10 days in advance.

What I normally do is track the ship using something like https://www.marinetraffic.com weeks/months prior to my sailing. Knowing the itineraries of the ships you will know where/when the ship will dock in any particular day. You can then track where the ship is dock at your destination of interest.

 

Of course this only works when the Marine Traffic receives a signal from the ship and that the ship will go to your destination of interest prior to your cruise. Specific pier is subject to change but this at least will let you know which dock it will use.

 

Might not be the best or easiest method but it will work.
