Holland America Cruise Tour 06/07/17 - 06/18/17 from Fairbanks Cruise ship Noordam

[South Alabama Cruiser]

We are traveling with another couple from Alabama. Both of us have Balcony Suites on Seventh Deck on the Noordam.

Most of our cruising has been in the Caribbean. So we know this is going to be different to say the least. Just like to have

some ideas on Weather, Excursions and what to expect. This is our first with Holland America so we do not know what to expect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Really looking forward to the Cruise Tour. Thanks in Advance !!

We sound as though we may be on the same trip. D1L? There is a roll call thread on the board for the 6/11 sailing with many different tour groups funneling into it.

 

The Alaska Board under ports is a great source for tours and packing tips. Don't wait much longer; I booked some last summer. They do sell out.

You have chosen a great ship -- Noordam -- for cruising Alaska.

You will want to book a whale watching tour -- Orca Enterprises is a good one in Juneau.

I don't know your ports -- but you might be interested in a helicopter flight.

On the day you cruise to a glacier -- that is the day that Hot Pea Soup is served in the Crow's Nest and out on the decks -- check the daily program for the time.
