Many are detailed photojournals with lots of first hand recommendations and great photos that bring the trip to life. -Borrow Alaska travel books from your library. -Lots of info available on line .... look at the HELPFUL RESOURCES thread below which has web sites for the ports, towns, discount coupons, Visitor Guides, travel sites, etc Have fun with your research and planning. Our stops include Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. We set sail on the 31st on the Island Princess.
