Margaritaville - NO inflatables!!!!

So, we have been to Cozumel many times and we never planned an excursion because we always spent the day playing in the ocean on the inflatables at Margaritaville. I did not even research this port since I knew "the plan". We were certainly surprised to find Margaritaville with NOTHING in the ocean. We asked and were told this is a new location and they will be adding the inflatables soon.

Just an FYI for anyone else who had planned on this. "Soon" in Mexico time might be a while!

Isn't the new location at the International Pier? Do they even allow swimming there?

According to the workers, inflatables were coming "soon". That is Mexican Spanish for maybe/maybe not/who knows? It did appear that swimming was taking place at Señor Frog's, a couple spots down.

Yes, the Allure generally docks at the International Pier. The new Margaritaville (I'm told - haven't been there since it's opened) is right at the pier area. You will probably be able to see it when walking off the ship.

There won't be an "entry fee" but it's just a bar/restaurant. You will be expected to buy some food or drink in order to sit there.

Thanks, it's basically same set up as the one in Falmouth Jamaica

Oh crap... well, might have to rethink this now.. Thanks :(

No water toys but pools available at El Cid or Park Royal (need AI day pass $40-50) next door to International.

For water toys take taxi to Paradise Beach - $3 entry and purchase pass for wAter toys ($18) and $10pp food and drink minimum.
