HI looking at booking a yacht club cabin number 18030 and have several questions which are unclear from plans:-

1. Just trying to work out if you can get into restaurant at end of this corridor or if you have to go via elevators and central corridor.

2. What is situated above this cabin? Is it a public area or still within confines of outside yacht club area

3. Are we likely to get much noise from nearby indoor pool or would we be better further into yacht club

4. Any suggestions as to what would be the best cabin position within yacht club if available

5. Can people from the jungle pool get into the yacht club corridor right outside this cabin

Many thanks

Phil

Will be on in December and let you know but my guess is that you will access the restaurant via the lounge. It appears that there is a staircase from the restaurant to the lounge. If you are concerned about noise, I would stay on the 16th floor.

Hello Phil... we have a booking in 18030.

Like the other ships, from the forward elevator area...there is a keycard access door to get into the YC corridors; it is not open access. Those doors may not show on any deck plan.. but for sure will be there.

If you are worried about noise change to the 16 fl.

Taken the plunge and have booked. We ended up in 18008 anyhow which just has Yacht Club outdoor area above. Very excited. It was this or a Viking cruise. We decided the ship within a ship concept would provide the luxury element but with the advantages of a huge ship with casino, entertainment and space.

Hi. Where exactly is the Yacht Club proper? Deck 16 or Deck 18. I want to be able to walk out my cabin door

and have loungers, pool and bar and restaurant access. I do not want to walk up a flight of steps or elevator.

Thank you so much!

The MSC website has deck plans for Seaside. Unfortunately MSC is unable to fit the sundeck, pools, hot tubs, bars, restaurants, cabins and concierge desk on one level. So the YC spans decks 16, 18 and 19 (there is no deck 17). There are some videos that show the beautiful top deck area for YC guests, and other renderings of the beautiful restaurant and bar areas. They are well worth the stairs and elevators that are within the confines of the YC proper and not part of public areas.
