Free Cruise Offer hypothetical ?

If I book a "Free cruise Offer" with 2 of my sisters and then I can't go, do;

They still get to go without any penalty?

Do I have to Pay the full fare of my share? (I have heard that if you are a "no show", Carnival will charge you the full fare.)

If I purchase the Carnival Insurance, will my share be covered for a medical condition which causes me to miss the ship?

I never purchase insurance from Carnival so I can't help with this one.
