tawaik Posted April 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2017 I saw a few old school machines on my last cruise. However, the older 3 reel machines have been converted to more of a video style. Have great cruise and good luck!

magiccruiser1 Posted April 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2017 Lots of machines are combinations of both. I personally go for machines that simply have more features and bonuses, as they play for a longer time and are more exciting.
crusinpsychRN Posted April 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 15, 2017 Wanna bet ? ;p I'm Dutch, too cheap to bet. Can't add fast enough to play blackjack. Don't understand craps. Never played poker. I do like to watch.
SweetCheeks Cruiser Posted April 17, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2017 We just cruised the Magic in February. The only old school reel slot machines were minimum dollar slots. (no quarter ones). I also feel I have better luck on the old school machines. Lots of times I would just play 1 credit and I did win $900.00 on one and fifteen minutes later won $300.00 on another one. DH won $800.00 on a penny machine but was betting max at $2.50 or $3.00. We did win enough this time to play all week but as your know that doesn't happen too often. We did see a few hand pays on the Wheel of Fortune machines but I thing the max on them was $5.00. Good luck and have fun!
coevan Posted April 17, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 17, 2017 What's funny about gamblers, I never see anyone writing about how much they lost. Most people lose or Vegas wouldn't be there.
Soxfan04 Posted April 17, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 17, 2017 I always lose about $500+ depending on how many nights I'm on board. I did however win once on a cruise on the Destiny about 5 years ago. Very first day right when slots were open I was showing my friends how to set up their account. Put a $20 in won $400. Then on the last night was waiting for the wheel of fortune after a woman dropped a few hundred then moved. Walked out of casino winning a total of $2,500 on that machine. Ended up paying my sail and sign and actually had cash going home
