Comparison between Gem and Jade

Hello cruisers...In the fall, these two ships are doing identical iternaries...how are they compared against each other?

 

I believe they fall in the same Jewel class...does that mean they have spinnakers and great outdoors?

 

which has a bigger, better spa?

 

for those who have sailed recently on the jade, how do the recent dry dock appear?

 

i see now cagneys have these special fireplace tables....how do i get those as they seem so cozy....thanks so much

Differences between Jewel class ships are mostly on deck 7 - some have shops in the back of the ship, some in the fwd-middle - the lounge is then in the opposite location. Gem and Pearl have bowling in the lounge (nice novelty but wouldn't affect me choosing a ship).

 

Otherwise they are more or less identical, Gem is the last one and has interactive TV system that the other three don't.

 

So yes, both have Great Outdoors and Spinnaker Lounge - AFAIK the spas are the same (at least the size) on all Jewel class ships.

The Gem spa is far better than the Jade spa, it has more in the mixed area, you can see on the Jade deck plans there are hot tubs in the segregated areas
