Is the jewel going to be refurbished this year?

We have booked a 2018 trip on the Jewel. I believe I read that it is on the schedul to be refurbished. Is that true?

Maybe. there were cruises for the fall and now there is none. I doubt they are full so maybe going in for a much needed redo.

The Jewel is due to do the Alaska season when it arrives in Seattle in May. At the end of the season it returns from Vancouver to Yokohama via Alaska and Russia and then travels down to Singapore arriving on Sep 22nd where a major overhaul is due. The next cruise is a 7 day 'shakedown' cruise in SE Asia starting on Nov 5th.
