Paytables are terrible. 6/5 for Jacks or Better is the norm. Plus on some ships you have to bet 10 coins to hit the Royal jackpot.

Totally depends on who is on your cruise. Had one cruise where I played for hours every night even after the casino closed and there were people always waiting for a seat and others where the table sat empty pretty much every night.
